In this role, you’ll help create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and team members.
What You’ll Do
- Keep Things Running Smoothly: Complete routine maintenance requests, repairs, and preventative maintenance throughout the community.
- Put Your Skills to Work: Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and other general building maintenance needs.
- Prepare Resident Apartments: Help with apartment turnovers and ensure spaces are clean, safe, and ready for new residents.
- Support a Safe Community: Assist with inspections, identify potential safety concerns, and follow building and safety requirements.
- Work with Vendors: Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers when needed.
- Be a Helping Hand: Provide friendly, dependable support to residents and team members throughout the community.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous maintenance, repair, or general handyman experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working around seniors.
- Flexibility to assist with occasional weekend or evening needs.
