Maintenance Worker

Training Monday-Friday 6am-3pm
Shift Monday-Friday 11am-8pm
Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00 an hour
Requirements: Must have experience with Conveyors, Production Equipment and Electrical Experience. 
 

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Worker to support our manufacturing operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have electrical maintenance experience, knowledge of conveyors and electric motors, and the ability to diagnose and repair production equipment. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with production machines, conveyors, motors, and related equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain electric motors, pumps, fans, compressors, machine tools, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Use electrical testing equipment, including multimeters, to measure voltage, current, resistance, and continuity.
• Troubleshoot and replace relays, contactors, switches, and other electrical control components.
• Repair and maintain conveyor systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
• Read and interpret basic electrical schematics and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues quickly and safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate repair status to supervisors.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience working with or maintaining conveyor systems.
• Ability to repair and troubleshoot electric motors.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Steel-toe shoes required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of relays, contactors, motor controls, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn additional maintenance skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work around manufacturing equipment for extended periods.
