    Description: Carroll College is seeking a part-time Major Gifts Officer to join our Institutional Advancement team. This key fundraising position is responsible for securing significant philanthropic support for Carroll College through the strategic cultivation and management of relationships with prospective and current donors capable of making major gifts.The Major Gifts Officer will manage all phases of the donor engagement cycle, including prospect identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship, with a focus on gifts of $25,000 or more. The successful candidate will oversee a portfolio of approximately 125 to 200 donor households, developing and implementing individualized engagement strategies to strengthen relationships and increase philanthropic investment in the College.Working collaboratively with the Senior Planned Giving and Major Gifts Officer, the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, members of the Board of Trustees, and campus leadership, the Major Gifts Officer will help advance Carroll College's fundraising priorities and support the successful execution of long-term development initiatives that further the College's mission and strategic goals.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field plus 2 years' of major gift/planned giving experience, preferably in higher education. Demonstrated success in fundraising initiatives including personal gift solicitation is preferred.
