Soccer Shots is the leader in youth soccer development. Our nationally recognized program offers a high-energy, fun, age-appropriate introduction to the wonderful game of soccer. Our innovative curriculum emphasizes both soccer skills and character development. Our goal is simple: to leave a lasting, positive impact on every child we serve.


THE JOB:

Soccer Shots blends soccer, education, and fun into high-energy 30 to 45-minute sessions for kids ages 18 months - 8 years old throughout the Queens area. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. And you’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our children will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do.


WHAT YOU GET:

• Compensation: $20 - $30 per hour

  • Once you are assigned to a location based on your schedule, the expectation is that you are committed to that time, place, and programming for the duration.

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:

• Prior soccer experience is not required. We only require the passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Prior experience working with children is preferred, formal or informal
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Great energy, excellent communication skills, and responsible.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of kids ages 1.5-8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
  • Own vehicle access  (preferred but required) 
  • Be comfortable commuting to different schools, parks, and venues where sessions take place. 
• Ability to handle, manage, and carry equipment for sessions from one site to another.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

SESSION TIMES: Throughout Queens

• Mondays through Fridays: 
  • mornings (8am - 12pm) 
  • afternoons (2pm - 5:30pm) | **Afternoon Availability Required at this time
• Saturdays and Sundays: mornings (8am - 12pm)
