BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Make Ready Technician to support an apartment community in Northlake, TX 76247. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in preparing apartment homes for new residents, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to start immediately.

• Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Complete apartment turns and make-ready projects in a timely manner
• Prepare units for move-ins through repairs, touch-ups, and general upkeep
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry repairs
• Install and replace fixtures, hardware, and apartment components
• Troubleshoot appliances and complete minor repairs
• Maintain safe work practices and proper tool usage
• Communicate progress and unit status with onsite management and maintenance staff
• Ensure apartments meet quality standards before resident move-in

Requirements

• Previous Make Ready or Apartment Maintenance experience required
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance troubleshooting
• Must have own basic tools
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing
