You will work closely with the property management team to identify any necessary tasks and will be responsible for performing those tasks efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of vacant units to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
Perform general maintenance duties, including drywall repair, painting, and plumbing fixes to prepare units for new residents.
Clean and sanitize units, ensuring they meet company standards for cleanliness and safety before move-in.
Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs or services as needed, making sure all work is completed timely and to standard.
Assist in inventory management of supplies and materials needed for make-ready processes to maintain efficient workflow.
Communicate effectively with property management regarding the status of make-ready units and any issues that arise during the process.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while on the job site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in maintenance or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in property maintenance, construction, or a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods of time.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail; must be thorough in completing tasks.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between properties as needed.
