Core responsibilities
- Provide makeup services: Perform makeup applications for clients, including signature services like "Moxie Reveals" and general makeovers.
- Stay current with trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices in makeup artistry.
- Collaborate with the team: Work closely with other salon staff to create a positive and exceptional client experience.
- Assist with other duties: Be willing to take on additional responsibilities within the salon as needed.
Qualifications and skills
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience as a makeup artist.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in various makeup application techniques.
- Client-focused: Strong customer service and communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.
- Team player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Versatility: Be comfortable working with all skin types, tones, and textures, and know how to recreate looks from photos.
