About the Role:
Assisting Hands - Matteson is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Male Caregiver to join our amazing team in Matteson, IL! This is a Monday–Friday position where you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client care plans
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to supervisors
- Assist with medication reminders and follow established care routines
Requirements:
- Male caregiver candidates preferred to meet specific client care needs
- Prior caregiving, home health aide, or CNA experience is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
