Mammographer (Full-Time)

Responsibilities:

• Performhigh-qualitymammographyexaminations,includingspecializedviewsandprecisepatientpositioningtoensureoptimaldiagnosticimaging.
• Prepareandeducatepatientsthroughouttheexamprocess,promotingcomfort,safety,andapositivepatientexperience.
• Conductbreastassessmentsanddocumentpertinentclinicalfindings,includingscars,moles,andotherrelevantobservations.
• Providebreastself-examinationeducationandreinforcetheimportanceofroutineclinicalbreasthealthscreenings.
• Verifypatientidentity,reviewmedicalhistoryandphysicianorders,andfollowestablishedimagingprotocols.
• Ensureaccuratedocumentation,coding,chargecapture,andimagearchivingwithinRISandPACSsystems.
• Assistradiologistswithbreastimagingprocedures,includingbiopsies,wirelocalizations,ductograms,andotherinterventionalexams.
• Followradiationandradioactivematerialsafetystandardswhilemaintainingcompliancewithdepartmentalandregulatoryrequirements.
• Performequipmentqualitycontroltestingandevaluateresultstoensureimagingsystemsmeetperformancestandards.
• Administercontrastmedia,performvenipuncture,andoperatepowerinjectorswhenrequired,followingphysicianordersanddepartmentalpolicies

Schedule: This position work 8-hour shifts, Monday-Saturday. The shift start times will vary from as early as 6AM and ending as late as 6PM. This position will require traveling (around 30% of the time) to different off-site locations.
