About the Role

A leading women’s imaging center in Tucson is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join its dedicated team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity offering a supportive environment where patient care, safety, and quality imaging are top priorities.

As a valued team member, the Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams, provide education on preventative breast health, and assist radiologists with specialized breast procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to physician orders and facility protocols.

• Prepare for and assist radiologists with breast biopsies and other specialized mammography procedures.

• Educate patients about the mammography process and promote regular preventive breast screening.

• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each exam, maintaining a patient-first focus.

• Consistently demonstrate excellent mammography positioning and exposure techniques.

• Adhere to all radiation safety guidelines and quality control standards.

• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and uphold professional standards at all times.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support imaging operations.

Qualifications

• Current ARRT (R) certification with Mammography (M) credential.

• Active Arizona State Radiologic Technologist License.

• Current BLS certification.

• Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience preferred; strong clinical skills required.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
