We are partnering with a well-regarded healthcare organization in Oregon to hire a Mammography Technologist for a full-time, day-shift role. What you'll do
You'll perform mammography exams and support excellent diagnostic outcomes by:
Performing a variety of mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and dignity
Applying mammography imaging principles, theories, and techniques to produce reliable, high-quality results
Communicating clearly with patients and collaborating with the imaging team to keep workflow running smoothly
Maintaining confidentiality and working independently with minimal supervision when needed
Maintaining consistent, punctual attendance for assigned shifts
Qualifications
Required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current ARRT certification in RadiographyandMammography
Current Oregon license
AHA BLS (Healthcare Provider)
Image Wisely pledge certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire; renew annually by January 30)
Image Gently pledge certificate (obtain within 30 days of hire; renew annually by January 30)
Preferred
Associates or Bachelors degree
1 year mammography experience
Stereotactic biopsy experience preferred
Physical/clinical requirements (role demands)
This position requires the ability to:
Stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
Respond quickly and appropriately to unexpected patient care needs
Maintain adequate hearing and visual acuity (including color vision)
Use fine motor skills and strong eye-hand coordination
Use safe body mechanics to assist patients with transfers and ambulation
Lift up to 75 pounds (as required)
Communicate effectively (reading, writing, speaking in person and by phone)
