Experienced Mammography Technologist

Valley Health is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist who is passionate about women's imaging and committed to providing an exceptional patient experience. In this role, you'll perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography while serving as a trusted resource for patients and collaborating closely with radiologists and the breast care team.

What You'll Do
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and MQSA standards.
- Ensure image quality while maintaining patient comfort, dignity, and safety.
- Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process with empathy and professionalism.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide timely, accurate diagnostic information.
- Participate in quality assurance and maintain compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with general radiology procedures as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Registered (R)
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide care to patients across all age groups.
Preferred
- ARRT Mammography Certification (M).
- Previous mammography experience in a hospital, outpatient, or breast imaging center.
- Experience with both screening and diagnostic mammography.
