Job Title: Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) 
Location: Miami Florida 33127
Pay Rate: $28 – $48/hr (experience-based)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our high-volume outpatient imaging center. The ideal candidate will perform both screening and diagnostic mammograms, assist with stereotactic breast biopsies, and ensure the highest quality imaging for radiologist review. You’ll work in a collaborative, team-based environment where patient safety, comfort, and efficient workflow are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using proper positioning and imaging techniques
  • Assist radiologists with stereotactic breast biopsies
  • Obtain and review patient history, prior imaging, and relevant documentation
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms following infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Verify patient identity and physician orders before procedures
  • Maintain efficient workflow to accommodate high patient volume
  • Operate and adjust mammography equipment to achieve optimal imaging
  • Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure image quality and reduce repeat exams

Qualifications
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology required
  • ARRT(M) Mammography certification preferred (training available for ARRT-only candidates)
  • State licensure required (as applicable)
  • Experience in screening and diagnostic mammography preferred
  • Willingness to assist with stereotactic biopsies
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
  • Team-oriented with flexible scheduling availability
  • Commitment to long-term employment, especially if training is provided
  • Experience with or willingness to learn MedInformatix (EMR/PACS)
