MAMMOGRAPHY TECH - PER DIEM

General Summary

Perform routine mammogram procedures.

Works under the supervision of the Lead Mammography Technologist.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
• Perform routine mammogram procedures.
• Perform needle location procedure for breast biopsy.
• Perform Stereotactic breast examination.
• Maintain accurate ACR records.
• Monitor and maintain equipment.
• May require occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

Required:

• Consistently arrives at work in appropriate/professional attire.
• Completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
• Holds current certification as a Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with recognized post-primary certification in Mammography.
• Holds a valid state Ohio Radiologic License issued by the Ohio Department of Health.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.

Education:

• Certificate or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.

Preferred:

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Mammographer.
