Job Title: Mammography Technician
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Duration: 2 months Contract
Schedule: 10:00A - 6:00P
Hourly rate: $71/ hour on W2 Negotiable
Duties- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography.
- Demonstrate competency in:
- Mammography positioning
- Breast compression
- Technique factor selection
- Ensure all radiographic images are properly labeled according to department SOPs.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and acceptability.
- Ensure images are transmitted to PACS accurately and in a timely manner.
- Complete all performed studies in IDX.
- Accurately document and maintain required patient tracking information in the tracking system.
Skills- Work effectively and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to departmental procedures.
ScheduleRequirements- Minimum 2 years of mammography experience required.
