Join our team at Morristown Hospital Rippel Breast Center, located in the vibrant community of Morristown, NJ. We are seeking a skilled professional to perform mammographic procedures, bone density, and breast biopsy procedures with precision and care.
Job Responsibilities
- Adhere to state, federal, and department standards for mammographic procedures.
- Review patient records and ensure all information is ready for the Radiologist.
- Practice universal precautions and aseptic techniques.
- Maintain a respectful relationship with staff and patients.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Operate department equipment proficiently.
- Complete all computer functions accurately and timely.
- Keep licensure and CME's current as per MQSA.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper stock of work area.
- Participate in call and holiday rotations as needed.
- Assist in training new team members or students.
Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume team environment.
- One year of experience in Mammography preferred.
Qualifications
- NJ DEP Xray License.
- ARRT Verified in Mammography.
- BLS Certification.
- Up to date with 15 Current Mammography CE's.
- Documented training in 2d, 3d, and Stereotactic Biopsies.
- Compliance with MQSA standards MG Exams.
Schedule
Full Time, Monday - Friday 8a - 4p with flexibility to fill day shifts.
