What we’re looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technician to join our New York Clinic, primarily covering Monday shifts, with flexibility to support Tuesday through Saturday shifts as needed. Our New York Clinic hours of operations are 7:00am – 3:00pm. The Technician will perform high quality mammography procedures for our patients, ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate will help patients practice preventive care by becoming aware of their health risks factors.

In this role, you will:
 
  • Perform routine screening
  • Ensure high quality screenings and customer service to patients
  • Educate and promote preventative health and healthy lifestyles
  • Review patient assessment of signs and symptoms
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies
  • Complete any necessary paperwork and documentation, ensuring all radiographic images are appropriately labeled
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care 
  • Monitor patient prior to, during and after screenings and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition
  • Additional duties as assigned

What the role requires:
 
  • New York State License of Diagnostic Radiography required
  • 2+ years of related experience and/or training
  • BCLS
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable with MS Office suite and Web-Based applications
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be highly articulate and professional

The rate for this role is $55 - $75 per hour and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate's experience, qualifications and skills.
