Mammography Technologist

Location: 1000 Johnson Ferry Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342

Contract Duration: 16 Weeks
Schedule: Days | Monday–Friday | 5 × 8-hour shifts | 40 hours/week
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Local Candidate Policy: No local candidates within 50 miles

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography Technologist experience required

• ARRT (Mammography) certification required

• AHA BLS certification required

• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment required

• Previous travel assignment experience required

• Must be highly experienced and comfortable working in a high-volume breast imaging environment

Department Details

• Extremely high-volume department serving approximately 100 patients per day

• Experience with a broad range of breast imaging services, including:

  • Mammography

  • Breast Ultrasound

  • Bone Density

  • Breast Biopsy Procedures

• Strong efficiency, accuracy, and patient-care skills are essential due to the department's high patient volume.

Holiday Requirements

Northside Hospital requires travelers to work:

• 2 Major Holidays out of 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day

• 1 Minor Holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
