Schedule: 4-Day Workweek | 4/10 Schedule | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Pay: Up to $56/hour + Overtime Eligible

Mammography Technologist Opportunity

A leading outpatient diagnostic imaging organization is seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist / Mammo Tech to join a growing radiology team in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This is an excellent opportunity for an ARRT-certified Mammography Technologist with experience in digital mammography, breast imaging, and stereotactic biopsy assistance to work in a patient-centered outpatient imaging environment.

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities
  • Perform screening mammograms and diagnostic mammography procedures
  • Operate digital mammography imaging equipment
  • Assist radiologists with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures
  • Position patients properly for breast imaging exams
  • Review mammography images for quality assurance and accuracy
  • Ensure proper patient identification and imaging documentation
  • Educate patients on mammography procedures and provide compassionate care
  • Follow radiation safety and radiologic technology protocols
  • Adjust imaging equipment and exposure settings for optimal image quality
  • Maintain mammography supplies and imaging room inventory
  • Support radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff in a collaborative environment

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent continuous Mammography Technologist experience
  • ARRT Certification required
  • Mammography certification required
  • Knowledge of digital imaging systems, PACS, and EMR systems
