Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; certification as a Mammography Technologist
• Current ARRT (M) certification required
• Experience in performing digital mammography, including screening and diagnostic exams
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality control standards
• Ability to explain procedures empathetically to patients and address questions or concerns
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and PACS systems
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail

Schedule:

• Contract position; flexible schedule options may be available based on departmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures following physician orders and established protocols
• Position patients accurately and safely to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort and dignity
• Maintain and operate mammography equipment, performing required quality control checks
• Document patient information and procedure details accurately in electronic medical records
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to maintain seamless workflow and exceptional patient care
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment by adhering to regulatory and accreditation requirements
