Description
Take your imaging expertise to the next level in a vital role supporting breast health screening and diagnosis. A dedicated team seeks an experienced technologist skilled in mammography to deliver compassionate, high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Your proficiency will make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (M) certification required
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (if applicable)
Proven experience operating mammography equipment and digital imaging systems
Strong knowledge of positioning, imaging techniques, and safety protocols
Ability to provide clear instructions and comfort to patients during exams
Commitment to upholding HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience with PACS and electronic health records preferred
Schedule/Hours:
Full-time contract assignment
Shifts may include daytime and occasional weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms according to established protocols
Ensure image quality and proper patient positioning for accurate diagnosis
Verify patient history and imaging orders, addressing any discrepancies
Safeguard patients by following all safety and infection control policies
Maintain accurate exam records and assist radiologists as necessary
Provide empathetic support and education to patients throughout the imaging process
Monitor equipment functionality and arrange maintenance when required
Stay current with advances in mammography and participate in ongoing training
