Mammography Technologist

Responsibilities/Job Description:

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our breast imaging team at our Riverside Women's Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. This is a .6 FTE (48 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8AM - 4:30PM.

 

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Uses appropriate communicaiton skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
• Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures
• Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures
• Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement
• Follows infection control guidelines
• Adheres to safety protocols
• Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols
• Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
• Responds appropriately to emergent situations
• Evaluates imagine results fod diagnostic quality
• Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
• Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
• Demonstrating ability to provide care of service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of the population served

Required Qualifications

• Digital mammography experience
• ARRT (R) (M)
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in general diagnostic breast imaging
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and understanding age-life cycle need

Qualifications:

$41.59- $60.07 Hourly
