Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our imaging team at our Rice Street Clinic in St Paul, MN! This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:30AM - 4PM. No weekends!
Responsibilities
- Prioritize work to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Determines and revises priorities for diagnostic testing
- Uses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs
- Communicates effectively with all members of the health care team.
- Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures.
- Adheres to radiologic diagnostic testing procedures
- Documents compliance with regulatory agency requirement
- Follows infection control guidelines
- Adheres to safety protocols
- Ensures imaging procedures meet all standards and protocols
- Serves as a resource for other healthcare team members
- Responds appropriately to emergent situations.
- Evaluates imagine results for diagnostic quality
- Assesses the validity of the test results to determine if consistent with changing physiological conditions or if due to possible interfering substances
- Acts as a resource for problem-solving resolution
- Demonstrating ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural difference of population served.
Required Qualifications
- Digital mammography training
- ARRT (R) (M)
- Minimum of one year of related experience in General Diagnostic Breast Imaging
- 1 year of experience working with patients in a capacity including frequent interactions and an understanding age-life cycle need
Qualifications:
$38.51- $54.36 Hourly
