The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of detail, such as: diagnostic/screening mammography procedures, localizations, and stereotactic biopsies. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
Qualifications:
Required:
High school graduate
Completion of an approved Radiological Technology Program that meets the requirements set by the ASRT and the New Jersey Certification Board
Minimum one year experience.
Must be licensed by the New Jersey State-DEP and registered by the ARRT (RT, R) (M)
Essential Functions:
Must Complete at least 8 hrs of documented training each specific equipment modality you use
Must complete at least 15 CME in Mammography every 36months
Must perform a Minimum of 200 mammograms every 2 yr
