Our client, a leading healthcare provider dedicated to excellence in patient care and diagnostic imaging, is hiring a Mammography Technologist. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including mammography, ensuring high-quality imaging compliant with established policies and procedures.
- Review all documentation related to procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the maintenance and cleanliness of radiographic equipment, performing preventative visual and manual inspections.
- Coordinate resources efficiently to manage radiographic procedures and optimize workflow.
- Conduct equipment calibration and warm-up procedures to prepare for patient imaging.
- Procure necessary supplies and report any equipment issues promptly.
- Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
- Support administrative duties related to patient procedures and documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven interest in patient care and satisfaction.
- Operating knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, including mammography.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster supportive relationships with colleagues, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving procedures.
- Demonstrated professionalism in following directions from medical personnel.
- College degree, ASRT (RT)(R)(M) certification, and a CT State License are preferred
- Prior experience in mammography and radiography is highly advantageous.
