Position Title: Management Analyst I / Peer Support Specialist
Location: Dover, DE 19901
Duration: 1 Year
Work Schedule: M-F 40 hours/week 1st shift (Travel required)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
  • This position is with the Encampment team in Kent County. Outreach is split into 80% in the field; and 20% in the office.
  • Providing outreach services to people living within the community who are in unhoused living situations (living in encampments, tent cities, under bridges, in the woods, etc.).
  • Provide immediate support and guidance to individuals entering recovery and mental health treatment.Talking with individuals about seeking treatment or other services.
  • Build rapport with those who are unhoused and with substance use and/or mental health disorders.
  • Provide direct and indirect peer support services and emotional support to the client and/or families as indicated. Assist with transportation of clients and referrals to treatment. May provide on the spot assistance of Narcan and/or CPR.

  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Applicant must have direct personal experience living with mental illness and/or addiction and recovery and must be willing to self-disclose lived experience for the purpose of education, role modeling, and providing hope to others about the reality of recovery
  • Have a Peer Certification or be willing to obtain within the first six months of hire.
  • Have basic computer skills in Microsoft office: Word, Excel
