Tasks

Your main tasks include, among others:

• Define key performance indicators to structure and analyze all ongoing business activities which include the sale and purchase of surplus material as well as the management of surplus material stock levels
• Implement performance dialogues between all levels within the department; consult management with root cause analysis and manage corrective actions
• Collaborate with other process centers or departments on the development of key performance indicators and other projects
• Provide detailed insights into our business by analyzing available data within Production Alternatives in all regions (Americas, EMEA, Asia Pacific). Apply various statistical forecasting methods and Qualitative and Quantitative Analytics
• All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need a combination of the following qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree required
• At least 3 years of experience in data mining and applying results for business needs desirable
• Fluency in English language required
• German language desirable
• Knowledge of data processing based on economics and process optimization techniques (e.g. LEAN), performance dialogues and key performance indicators desirable
• MS Office as user, MS Access, Qualitative and Quantitative Analytics, R, SAP; SQL, KNIME, Filemaker, Python, PowerBI, Tableau, JIRA, Data mining software, Analytical Software, Business Intelligence Software
• Willingness to travel
• Shift work / overtime
• Manage constant time pressure
• Manage high stress levels
• Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
• CV/Resume required
• Company may provide relocation assistance
