Edera is seeking a Management Consulting Senior Manager to lead agile project management efforts for client implementations focused on medical readiness, workflow optimization, innovation, patient experience, and interoperability. This individual will play a central role within the Management Consulting capability, guiding service and product development, project planning, resource allocation, and risk and change management.

Sample responsibilities for this position include:

• Lead project teams by applying strong analytical, quantitative, and detail-oriented skills; validate data accuracy to inform client decision-making and dialogue.
• Assess the impact of services on clients and develop strategies to improve work processes and outcomes.
• Manage and coach team members, providing guidance on analysis and solution development to ensure clear articulation of value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Use diverse tools, methodologies, and industry best practices to gather and analyze project data.
• Evaluate team and individual communication effectiveness and recommend enhancements to strengthen client engagement.
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise in one or more domain areas, contributing insights and knowledge transfer across programs and projects.
• Oversee team and individual utilization to maintain compliance with policy and achieve financial targets.
• Navigate and lead others through organizational, project, and process changes, fostering an environment where concerns can be raised safely and constructively.
• Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, including resource constraints, to senior leadership.
• Contribute to firmwide strategic planning, including goal setting, growth strategy, and business development.
• Develop intellectual capital, marketing assets, and content aligned with business strategy.
• Support recruitment, development, and retention of highly qualified and diverse team members.
• Mentor and develop team members through training, coaching, performance feedback, and identification of growth opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc tasks consistent with the management fundamentals of practice oversight.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Deep expertise in project management principles, methodologies, and tools, including Microsoft Project and Jira
• Experience using SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, etc.)
• Minimum of 8 years managing large-scale technology implementations
• At least 10 years of experience in a professional services environment with client-facing responsibilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules, resources, and project risks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with MS PowerPoint
• Strong problem solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Willingness to travel as needed; on-site work may be required on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Master’s degree preferred
• Public Trust Clearance preferred
• Military health command experience desired

• Understanding of federal healthcare systems, especially Military Health System operations and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of defense healthcare systems and operational readiness.
• Demonstrable skills in MS Visio
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2, ProSci) or technology certifications (e.g., ITIL, SAP, Azure, AWS, OCI, PowerBI)
