SummarySupport performance management and improvement services for Duke University Hospital, Duke Health Raleigh Hospital, Durham Regional Hospital, and other entities within Duke University Health System. Responsibilities include managing the productivity management system, labor budgeting, productivity/process analyses, operational support to senior operational leadership, decision support, performance reporting, patient satisfaction coordination and support, and performance improvement project management.HoursDay shift Monday-Friday. Hybrid opportunity.Work performedManagement Engineering: Development and maintenance of labor standards for departmental staffing and procedural level labor standards used by Cost Accounting and Hospital Departmental Managers in costing and budgeting techniques. Provides support to leadership with productivity improvement efforts, labor variance analyses, and processes to meet productivity goals. Operational Support: Project management and analytical support for operational initiatives. Decision Support and Performance Reporting: Develop clinical analyses, coordinate improvement processes, provide ongoing decision support for clinical and patient safety efforts, routine reporting of key quality and patient safety metrics, support balanced scorecard program. Patient Satisfaction: Coordinate improvement efforts to improve patient satisfaction scores. Performance Improvement: Lead and support performance improvement teams within assigned area.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong analytical and communication skills.
