This position is located in the Office of Overseas Protective Operations, International Programs Directorate, Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS/IP/OPO).

Serves as security specialist evaluating and administering the security training program responsible for all guard force training for the Worldwide Protection Services task orders and regular Personal Services Agreement (PSA) local guard forces, worldwide.

Requirements: Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all the qualification requirements described below by the closing date of this announcement. 

Applicants must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service which provided the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of the position. Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • Experience developing written training processes, procedures and security protocols that address a variety of security contingencies.
  • Experience providing contracting/procurement services to support the operations of a complex security training program.
  • Experience developing comprehensive metrics to assess program performance, evaluate program effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations. 

There is no substitute of education for specialized experience for the GS-14 position.
