Making presentations to Trade School and to client team members
Partnering with Media, Planning, Creative, Campaign Management and Production to develop effective work, including legal, data governance and investor relations on externally published content
This is client-facing, revenue-connected work, and precision and judgment carry real weight. It is a role for someone who takes real ownership of how work is planned, staffed and delivered, holds quality across many moving parts, and anticipates what comes next.
Responsibilities

Take ownership of day-to-day workflow, managing up to the Group Account Director on an ongoing basis
Translate a complex, multi-workstream account into clear plans, priorities and status, so leadership always has an accurate view
Anticipate needs and surface risks and opportunities early, before they require escalation
Know when to bring in the details and when to summarize at a high level, calibrating for each audience, the client, the Executive Director, the Chief of Staff and the Group Account Director, so their time and attention go where they matter most
Assist the Group Account Director with strategic planning initiatives
Manage delivery across the account
Co-own delivery, from an account management perspective, across marketing communications, sales enablement, case studies, learning enablement and more, partnering with the strategy team that leads execution of the work itself
Execute project-level work with minimal oversight, and identify opportunities to improve the work or the account's processes
Direct plans, timelines, resourcing and priorities for a cross-functional team, keeping many moving parts aligned and on track
Protect margins, manage costs and ensure accurate, timely billing across the account
Design and implement the processes, templates and ways of working that keep a broad account running efficiently
Support SOW tracking across owned work streams
Partner with the Program Director on timelines, resourcing and project mechanics for owned work streams, keeping them informed so the account's cross-project tracker stays current
Guide externally published work through multi-stakeholder approval, including legal, data governance and investor relations, without losing momentum
Manage the client relationship
Serve as a trusted day-to-day partner to the client, managing expectations and building lasting credibility
Develop and maintain positive relationships across the client's marketing team and the broader business
Demonstrate insight and knowledge of the client's business and priorities
Anticipate and recognize client needs, and actively seek integrated solutions to address them
Communicate recommendations with clarity and confidence across written and verbal formats, including to client leadership
Develop and deliver presentations to Trade School and client teams in a clear, persuasive manner
Evaluate new requests against the scope of work and advise on fit, impact and approach
Uphold quality and standards
Hold the work to a high standard across every work stream, knowing that what publishes reflects on the client externally and equips their sales team to sell
Consistently evaluate creative and content against strategy and the client's needs
Present complex concepts and solutions clearly to internal teams and clients alike
Navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and sound judgment
Develop the team
Mentor and develop team members through direct, constructive feedback and meaningful recognition
Train and motivate team members to be solutions-oriented and open-minded
Help attract, motivate and retain strong talent, and address performance issues promptly and fairly
Build a working knowledge of retail media and category trends, and bring that awareness back to the team
Maintain awareness of great work in and outside the category
Model Trade School's culture and build a strong sense of collaboration within the team
