Manager, Analytics - Pricing And Portfolio Management

What You'll Do

The Manager, Analytics - Pricing and Portfolio Management will play a key role in helping drive data-informed decisions across Spotter's Ad Sales and Capital businesses. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with significant ownership and cross-functional visibility. Working closely with Analytics leaders and cross-functional partners, you'll analyze portfolio performance, pricing, campaign results, and platform-level trends to uncover insights that directly inform business strategy and day-to-day decision-making.

This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into data, identifying opportunities, and turning complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations. You'll help Spotter stay ahead of emerging trends, optimize performance, and build scalable analytical tools and processes as the business continues to evolve.

Responsibilities

• Support Ad Sales pricing and analytics, providing data-driven analysis to inform pricing, and campaign decisions.
• Support campaign setup, execution, monitoring, and optimization, working closely with Ad Sales teams to ensure strong campaign performance.
• Support Capital pricing and deployment through pricing analysis, deal evaluation, and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools that provide actionable insights to all stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring processes, reducing manual effort and improving scalability.
• Analyze campaign and portfolio performance, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Creator, Ad Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams as needed to develop data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.

Who You Are

• BS in a technical or math-oriented discipline
• 3 - 6 years of work experience in analytical/quantitative roles
• Strong proficiency in Excel, particularly pivot tables, power pivots, data models
• Strong proficiency using SQL and Python/R for ad-hoc analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues
• Strong storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Google Slides

Note: Due to the proliferation of similarly capable business products today, skills in equivalent products are acceptable

Preferred

• Management Consulting/Investment Banking backgrounds.
• Experience in Ad Sales analytics
• Knowledge of the YouTube or Content Creator industry
• Experience with data visualization tools in any of the following:
• Power BI
• TIBCO Spotfire
• Looker
• Tableau
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) or SAP ABAP development are nice to have

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $120K-$135K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
