Manager, Asset Protection and Analytics

Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for prescriptive data analytics and reporting to provide critical data to the Loss Prevention team, Field Team, and other Business Partners. This position is also responsible for statistical reporting, merchandise security initiatives, and departmental special projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Support the Profitect software as an administrative super user. Create prescriptive analytics to assist the investigators in obtaining pushed analytics to drive efficiency, reducing the overall impact of theft at stores.
  • Partner with Director of Loss Prevention to become subject matter expert in Profitect platforms, Alteryx and LPMS. Create reporting and analytics that Company leadership, LP, RLPMs, Investigators and field can utilize.
  • Create and manage reports surrounding Inventory Control, 1% stores, Shrink by SKU, Executive Scorecard, and Exception reports.
  • Utilize data via Profitect and Alteryx to provide detail information to Regional Loss Prevention Mangers. Assist in determining priority of stores to visits, number of visits and types of visits.
  • Manage all Loss Prevention documents published to field and SSC via the Mule, Barn, Hub, or via the communications team
  • Partner with leaders to create the Merchandise Security Advisory Board, creating Merchandising Security Standards and streamlining the decision making process on how to secure and how to communicate to the field.
  • Partner with the Merchandising Team, attending MDD walks, challenging whether merchandise should be secured, how to secure it, and performing the necessary test.
  • Perform shrink test analytics

Required Qualifications

Experience: 5 years of Loss Prevention, Fraud, Data, Audit, Master Data or related experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Proficient gathering, documenting and evaluating information to solve difficult problems
  • Ability to think critically and develop conclusions
  • Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of indicators of fraud
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
