We are seeking a Manager of Business Analysis to support the Internal Consulting team of Aon Business Services (ABS) on the design and delivery of a multi-year strategic Operating Model Transformation. Reporting to the Director of Internal Consulting, this role supports the design and implementation of Aon’s future operating model, delivering analysis and insights to translate strategy into practical solutions. This role will engage with leaders across Solution Lines, Regions and Functions, as well as support cross‑functional team of internal consultants, project managers and subject matter authorities to deliver measurable performance outcomes. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one our US offices.

What the day will look like
Analysis & Problem Solving
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to understand current‑state processes, organizational structures, performance, and difficulties
• Gather, validate, and interpret data (e.g., volume, productivity, quality, financials, client and colleague feedback) to support operating model decisions
• Analyze and synthesize complex inputs (e.g. activity maps, as-Is assessments, interviews, benchmarks, collaborator insights) into clear, decision-ready operating model recommendations
• Develop clear problem statements, hypotheses, and analytical frameworks in collaboration with senior team members
• Prepare options, recommendations, and supporting materials to inform decision‑making
Operating Model Design & Program Support
• Support the end‑to‑end design of the target operating model across Aon’s Solution Lines, Business Units and Functions
• Translate business needs into clear, structured business requirements, user stories, and process flows for the target operating mode
• Assist in tracking risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies related to analysis and design activities
• Contribute to the preparation of steering committee materials, status updates, and other program documentation
Collaborator Engagement & Communication
• Build strong working relationships with subject matter authorities, operations teams, and functional collaborators (e.g., Technology, Finance, HR, Risk & Compliance)
• Prepare high‑quality presentations, reports, and visual materials that clearly communicate insights, requirements, and design decisions to different audiences
• Capture feedback from collaborators and incorporate it into analysis, requirements, and build artifacts
Change Support & Knowledge Management
• Help define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs), process documentation, and training materials for new ways of working
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of templates, tools, and methodologies used by the Internal Consulting team
• Capture lessons learned, standard methodologies, and insights from projects and help embed them into future work
• Share knowledge and analysis in a way that builds understanding and capability across the broader team

Skills and experience that will lead to success
• 3+ years of proven experience in business analysis, consulting, operations improvement, or a related role
• Experience supporting transformation, operating model, process re‑engineering, or large‑scale change initiatives, ideally in a global or matrixed environment
• Experience in professional services, insurance, or financial services is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities; capable of working with data, recognizing patterns, and drawing clear conclusions
• Solid business analysis capabilities, including requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with process mapping and visualization tools (especially PowerBI) is beneficial
• Strong ability to convey ideas both in writing and speaking; able to present complex information in a clear and concise way
• Comfortable working with collaborators at different levels and across functions and geographies
• Organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative great teammate, open to feedback and committed to continuous learning
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Operations, Technology, Data/Analytics, or related field

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $110,000 to $150,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
