Manager, Business Analytics
Job Description Summary:
Creation of data analysis tools to uncover business issues and support strategic initiatives. Build efficient models using internal and external sources to help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and identify actions to rectify business problems. Provide research and analysis support for competitive insights and macro-economic factors. Work with Business Intelligence team to automate approved data analytic models for regular reporting. Deliver accurate and on-time reporting on KPIs. Evaluate business and recommend analyses to highlight areas of opportunity that will improve company performance. Prepare presentation documents and assist in presenting findings to cross-functional team members. Hybrid in-office/remote position.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business/Data Analytics, Business (Any), Management (Any), Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. In lieu of a Master's degree in Business/Data Analytics, Business (Any), Management (Any), Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained, employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree in Business/Data Analytics, Business (Any), Management (Any), Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained. Must also have demonstrated experience in the following: Advanced Excel (Creating complex data models using Power Pivot, PowerQuery, Power BI, and DAX coding language); Statistical concepts and analyses (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive); SQL Programming; Ad hoc exploratory analysis and Hypothesis testing; Data modeling in Power BI and Power Pivot; Statistical packages of Python; Alteryx; Customer demographics analysis; Supporting business insights from data analysis; Communicating with business users on actionable insights from data analysis; Primary and secondary research on business and macro-economics related issues; and Research on econometrics.
