Position: Manager, Business Intelligence and Reporting
Job Location: 811 Excellence Dr, Bentonville, AR 72716
Duties: Manages complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by researching potential solutions; making recommendations to meet end use business objectives; updating business data; creating visual prototypes and design documentation; monitoring solutions and troubleshooting an issues; completing dashboard and reporting specifications; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results. Manages the implementation of business intelligence solution roadmaps by developing written and oral presentations and presenting to diverse audiences (for example, management, customers, suppliers, business intelligence, and analytics staff); ensuring solution testing and validation; ensuring requirements are met to support implementations; overseeing upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products; reviewing impact of changes before and after solution implementation; and communicating project results and updates to senior leadership. Creates and revises complex business intelligence and reporting solutions by identifying business requirements and validating gathered information ; collaborating with subject matter experts, data experts, and other business intelligence and analytics experts; coordinating the evaluation of customer and supplier solutions; making recommendations to meet end user business objectives; designing and conducting analysis and reporting solutions; writing detailed dashboard and reporting specifications; documenting and revising processes to collect, analyze, compile, and submit data and information; and creating reports and visualization of information to effectively communicate results. Understands current customer business intelligence and reporting needs by managing production of scheduled reports; managing reporting databases to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data; maintaining materials for state-of-the-art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions; providing guidance and direction to stakeholders to interpret trends and exceptions; and identifying gaps and opportunities in business intelligence and reporting solutions.
Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or related field and 2 years of experience in information technology, real estate, or related experience.
Skills required: Must have experience with: Developing interactive dashboards and automating reports using Tableau and Power BI to support business decisions; Querying and transforming large datasets using SQL and BigQuery to validate data pipelines and generate business insights; Automating ETL workflows and data preparation using Dataiku, Alteryx, and SAP for scalable reporting; Designing and executing API testing with Postman, validating JSON/XML responses and ensuring backend integration accuracy; Conducting data audits, data validation, and root cause analysis to ensure integrity across multiple reporting environments; Collaborating with stakeholders to define data requirements, KPIs, and success metrics for analytics initiatives; Translating business needs into user stories, technical documentation, and traceable requirements throughout SDLC; Integrating APIs and cross-system data sources to support enriched analytics and reporting pipelines; Creating and maintaining test strategies and QA metrics dashboards to track quality indicators and system health; Validating application features and backend logic using test cases, SQL queries, and stored procedures in Agile environments; Designing and implementing data quality checks and reconciliation frameworks to identify discrepancies across systems and ensure reporting accuracy. Rate of pay: $94,557.00 - 130,000.00/year
