Posting Title: Manager, Centers Administration and Finance Overview:

The Manager, Centers Administration and Finance supports the administrative and financial operations of the Center for the Constitution and the Catholic Intellectual Tradition (CIT), Center for the Law and the Human Person (CLHP), Center for Religious Liberty (CRL), and the Separation of Powers Institute (SPI).

 

The role focuses on financial planning, tracking, and processing across all programs. This includes preparing and maintaining budgets, monitoring expenditures across multiple funding sources, processing payments and reimbursements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with University policies and donor conditions.

 

In addition, the Manager provides administrative support for the center and institute programming, initiatives, and faculty. This includes coordinating events and logistics, managing communications, and supporting faculty directors in both their programmatic work and general academic responsibilities.

 

The Manager works closely with faculty and administrative offices to ensure that financial and operational needs are handled accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. 

The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position, which represents the full range of anticipated compensation, is: $70,000 to $77,000 annual.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial planning and day-to-day financial administration for the law school’s Centers and Institute, including preparing and maintaining budgets, monitoring expenditures across multiple funds, processing reimbursements, honoraria, and vendor payments, and related contracts in University systems, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with University policies and donor restrictions.
  • Coordinate financial and administrative matters with faculty, vendors, and central administrative offices, maintaining accurate records and supporting timely, well-documented transactions.
  • Provide key administrative support for Center and Institute programs and events, including logistics, communications, materials preparation, and coordination with internal and external partners, and provide on-site event coordination, including several evening events each month.
  • Serve as the primary greeter and administrative point of contact for the Centers and Institute suite, handling front desk coverage, general inquiries, phone and mail coordination, and vendor relationships, including support for websites and media-related activities.
  • Provide administrative support to faculty directors, including assistance with course-related needs, exam preparation, reports, and promotion or tenure materials, as well as coordination with other law school offices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred, related experience considered in lieu of degree.

At least one year of professional experience preferred, ideally in an academic or law firm environment
