Halifax Regional Municipality is inviting applications for the permanent full-time position of Manager, Climate Adaptation with the Environment & Climate Change division of Property, Fleet & Environment.

The Manager of Climate Adaptation is a senior professional subject matter expert in climate adaptation approaches, programs, and policies. This position oversees a team of environmental professionals and works with internal and external partners to develop and administer climate adaptation initiatives including resilient critical infrastructure, corporate and community adaptation programs, strategies, funding applications, partnerships, reporting, and public engagement.

WORK STATUS: Permanent, full time
HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., 35 hours per week.
SALARY: Non-Union Level 8, $82,640 - $113,640 (salary to commensurate with education and experience)
WORK LOCATION: 3rd Floor of Dartmouth Ferry Terminal (88 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth)
