Barrows is seeking a measurement-focused Manager of Commerce Marketing & Analytics to join our team. This role blends data analytics, retailer marketing, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support high-impact commerce marketing programs at Walmart and Sam's Club.

The ideal candidate is equal parts data-savvy and marketing-minded-able to translate complex data into compelling, actionable marketing programs that elevate sales performance and shopper engagement

Roles and Responsibilities

Program Execution & Relationship Management

• Develop and execute all aspects of Commerce Marketing programs for Sam's Club: program objectives, strategy, budgeting, creative briefs, agency engagement, execution, and post-campaign analysis.
• Lead agency partner management to execute Commerce Marketing plans effectively.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Agencies, Merchandising) for program sell-in, alignment, and in-market execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer marketing teams and dedicated agency partners to ensure flawless program delivery.

Measurement & Analytics

• Act as measurement lead for all Walmart and Sam's Club marketing programs.
• Analyze Commerce Marketing programs by leveraging consumption data and performance metrics to deliver insights and assess program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Category Management, Brand, Demand Science, and retailer personnel to determine impact of Commerce Marketing investments.
• Evolve and improve existing methodologies for analyzing Commerce Marketing performance.
• Recommend ways to improve marketing programs and drive increased sales.

Planning & Financial Management

• Partner with Brand, Sales, and Finance to ensure Commerce Marketing initiatives align with business goals, including net sales and gross margin.
• Manage the Commerce Marketing budget and invoice management for assigned customers, ensuring the budget is always balanced.
• Leverage shopper and customer insights and ensure marketing programs align with category growth strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing Analytics, Commerce Marketing, Brand, Ecommerce, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred.
• Proficiency in Scintilla, Madrid, Circana, Excel, Power BI, Walmart Connect and Sam's Club Connect Ad Centers.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of turning data into actionable business insights.
• Agility - Able to balance long-term plan development with short-term business opportunities/challenges, manage multiple marketing programs simultaneously, and respond to internal/retailer requests.
• Curiosity - Demonstrated track record of identifying opportunities and acting.
• Ability to work in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000

• exact compensation will be determined based on individual experience
