About the Role The Manager of Commerce Operations is a key operator within Gap Inc.s Media Operations team dedicated to driving the execution, scalability, and operational excellence of our social commerce programs. Partnering closely with the Director of Media Operations, this role accelerates the growth of commerce-enabled media across TikTok Shop, YouTube Shopping, and emerging platforms while ensuring product feeds and operational workflows are commerce-ready and optimized for performance. While embedded within a large matrixed organization, this role operates with a highly entrepreneurial mindset. The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating ambiguity, taking initiative, and building new ways of working. Creative problem-solving, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and do things differently are essential, particularly as social commerce and commerce-enabled media continue to evolve rapidly. Approximately 75% of the role centers on social commerce execution, with 25% focused on product feed operations, workflow management, and documentation. What Youll Do Social Commerce Execution (Primary Focus) Own day-to-day operational execution for TikTok Shop and other social commerce marketplaces. Manage product onboarding, catalog setup, listing optimization, promotions, pricing, and availability to ensure commerce-ready accuracy. Monitor platform health and address issues such as listing errors, fulfillment flags, product eligibility, and order discrepancies. Identify operational gaps or growth opportunities and proactively propose solutions that improve conversion efficiency and seller performance. Support peak moments, holidays, and major launches with rapid problem-solving and tight coordination across Media Operations, eComm, and brand teams. Product Feeds & Paid Media Enablement Support the management and maintenance of product feeds powering social commerce and paid media. Conduct daily feed health checks across Google, Meta, TikTok, and affiliate platforms to ensure data integrity and platform compliance. Troubleshoot and escalate feed issues affecting delivery eligibility or creative quality. Ensure feed readiness for priority campaigns, new product drops, and seasonal merchandising. Workflow & Ticket Management Review and triage feed- and platform-related requests from agency and internal partners. Maintain clear prioritization, status tracking, and follow-up to ensure timely resolution. Bring structure to operational workflows while staying flexible in response to evolving platform requirements. Cross-Functional Partnership Partner closely with eCommerce, brand, marketing, creator, influencer, teams, fulfillment, finance, and technology operations to ensure end-to-end commerce readiness. Translate platform requirements into actionable workflows that support both revenue and operational goals. Work with MSS partners to align on timelines, dependencies, and expected outputs. Documentation, Insights & Continuous Improvement Maintain documentation for feed logic, commerce workflows, and platform operations. Track operational KPIs, feed health, listing quality, platform readiness, and surface insights that guide optimization. Embrace a test-and-learn mindset to streamline processes, reduce errors, and scale repeatable best practices. Who You Are Strong expertise in digital commerce operations, marketplace platforms, or product feed management with the ability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational standards. Proven ability to analyze complex operational issues, interpret data, and implement solutions that improve performance and mitigate risk. Experience leading or influencing teams, fostering collaboration, and aligning work to shared business objectives within a matrixed environment. Effective communication and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment across marketing, eCommerce, technology, and operations. Solid understanding of how team outputs contribute to broader business performance, including awareness of social commerce and digital retail trends. Commitment to continuous improvement, leveraging metrics and documentation to enhance workflows and scale best practices. * Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, evolving digital commerce environments.

About the Company

T

The Gap Inc

Doris and Don Fisher opened the first Gap store in 1969 with a simple idea -- to make it easier to find a pair of jeans and a commitment to do more. Over the last 46 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with five brands -- Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Athleta and Intermix. Gap's clothes are available in 90 countries worldwide through 3,300 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing. Many companies work to improve their services and businesses every day by using GAP Testers who anonymously go into various places and report back to the companies on everything from cleanliness, customer service to quality control. Being a tester is a very flexible, fun job with lots of benefits.
