As a manager of communications on the Corporate HR Solutions team, you'll lead high-profile projects and events as well as employee engagement opportunities for Progressive's HR initiatives. You'll collaborate with senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. In this role, you'll make final decisions on administrative and operational matters related to communications while supporting executive leadership initiatives and viewpoints. Additionally, you'll drive continuous enhancements by leveraging design and technology across campaigns and tools.
This is a remote position.
Must-have qualifications
- A minimum of eleven years property casualty insurance experience or professional experience in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing, including a minimum of three years of experience leading people and/or cross functional teams
- {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or related field of study, (i.e., Public Relations, Journalism, English or Marketing), and eight years of professional experience in Communications or related field (i.e. Journalism, Advertising, Marketing and/or Public Relations), including a minimum of three years of experience leading people and/or cross functional teams
Preferred skills
- Experience leading HR strategic communications initiatives and partnering with executive leadership to meet business goals
- Experience serving as a communications subject matter expert to consult, plan, and implement business and strategic communications
- Experience with providing direction for a full range of HR communications for target audiences, including HR townhall presentations, videos, brochures, and speeches
Compensation
- $98,400 - $131,200/year
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
