Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Banking and Markets & Group Treasury ("GBM&T") Compliance Department in the U.S. ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
The objective of this position is to support the execution, maintenance and ongoing enhancement of the U.S. Compliance Risk and Control Assessment ("CRCA") program. The Manager will partner with the CRCA Senior Manager to help administer the annual and quarterly CRCA processes, support adherence to CRCA policies, procedures and governance requirements, and provide guidance to business and corporate function units in completing risk assessments consistent with applicable methodology. The Manager will support the review and challenge of assessment inputs, rationale documentation, action plan mapping, quality assurance activities, management reporting and related program enhancements. The role requires substantial coordination with Compliance Advisory, Business Units, Corporate Functions, Internal Audit and other stakeholders to promote consistent execution, data quality, timely escalation and sustainable control enhancements across the U.S. Compliance framework.
