About This Role:

As the Manager, Compliance & Risk, you will serve as the operational backbone of our Legal, Audit & Compliance department. Reporting to the Director of Compliance & Risk, your critical goal is to lead day-to-day operations across continuous compliance monitoring, audit execution, client due diligence (DDQs), and emerging payments/KYB workflows while ensuring our AI-driven SaaS platforms meet the highest regulatory standards.

What You'll Do:

• Execute CMS & Risk Management: Lead daily operations of the Compliance Management System (CMS), conduct annual risk assessments, and maintain the Risk & Control library in our GRC platform.
• Manage Audits & Client DDQs: Coordinate end-to-end audit fieldwork for certifications (ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and client examinations, supervising the timely completion of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs).
• Oversee Payments & KYB Compliance: Manage compliance for our Payment Portal, supervising Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding, transaction monitoring, Nacha rules, and card network compliance.
• Drive Monitoring & Remediation: Execute continuous monitoring across consumer financial protection frameworks (FDCPA, TCPA, Reg F, BSA/AML) and validate root-cause corrective action plans.
• Lead & Develop the Team: Directly supervise, mentor, and manage daily workload distribution for compliance specialists and analysts, holding absolute accountability for team SLAs.
• Administer GRC & Reporting: Serve as an active administrator for compliance tech tools (Jira Service Management, AuditBoard, Confluence, Responsive) and maintain executive KPI/KRI dashboards.

Who You Are:

• Fintech & Compliance Leader: You bring 5+ years of progressive compliance, risk, or audit experience in fintech, SaaS, or financial services, along with 3+ years of direct people management.

• Regulatory Expert: You have a deep operational understanding of consumer financial protection regulations (FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA, Reg F, BSA/AML) and payment/banking standards (Nacha, PCI-DSS).

• Tech & GRC Proficient: You bring hands-on experience administering GRC tools, advanced Jira/Confluence workflow management, DDQ/RFP platforms, and analytics tools (Looker, Google Sheets/Excel).

• Educated & Credentialed: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (industry certifications like CRCM, CAMS, CISA, or CRISC are a plus).

$100,000 - $140,000 a year

For U.S.-based hires, the overall base salary framework for this role currently spans $100,000 to $140,000 per year. The applicable base salary range for any individual hire depends on the geographic labor market associated with the employee's primary work location along with other factors such as relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Geographic labor markets are divided into "tiers" based upon a number of factors, including cost of living. Below, you'll find a few example cities representative of each tiers:

• U.S. Geo Tier 1 (i.e. San Francisco, New York City, Boston)
• U.S. Geo Tier 2 (i.e. Austin, Denver, Phoenix)
• U.S. Geo Tier 3 (i.e. Kansas City, Jacksonville, Indianapolis)

Remote Work, Travel Expectations & Physical Requirements:

This role supports a global, cross-functional business and operates primarily in a Remote-First environment. However, flexibility outside of standard business hours and occasional local or international travel may be necessary for global operations support, company meetings, training, offsites, and collaborative projects.
