Job Description

Consultant, Supply Chain Strategy

What if your first consulting role wasn't about simply building slides and making recommendations, but about helping some of the world's leading companies figure out how to make their supply chains better, faster, and smarter?

At GEP, you'll have the opportunity to do exactly that.

As a Consultant in our Supply Chain Strategy practice, you'll work at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and real-world execution. You'll tackle complex business challenges, dig into data to uncover what's really happening, develop solutions with your clients, and stay close enough to implementation to see your ideas come to life.

You'll work alongside experienced consultants and client leaders, gain exposure to different industries and business models, and build the skills to become a trusted advisor to some of the world's most recognizable companies.

And you won't be doing it alone. From day one, you'll be part of a collaborative team that values curiosity, fresh thinking, and a mindset focused on turning complex challenges into better solutions.

What You'll Do

Every project is different, which is part of what makes consulting exciting.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Solve complex business challenges by leading and supporting client engagements focused on supply chain strategy, operations improvement, and transformation.

  • Turn data into insights by analyzing performance, identifying opportunities, and uncovering the root causes behind operational challenges.

  • Think strategically and practically by developing recommendations that don't just look good on paper, but can actually work in the real world.

  • Lead client discovery workshops to identify high-impact artificial intelligence (AI) use cases, translating complex business challenges into actionable, end-to-end AI implementation roadmaps.

  • Leverage internally developed AI tools and software to accelerate your own workflows and drive value for both our clients and GEP.

  • Work directly with clients and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build solutions and drive sustainable change.

  • See your ideas in action by staying connected to implementation and helping clients turn strategy into measurable results.

  • Build your consulting toolkit by applying supply chain frameworks, analytical approaches, and industry best practices.

  • Help grow the business by contributing to proposals, developing client relationships, and identifying opportunities to create additional value.

  • Learn and lead by mentoring newer consultants while continuing to grow your own consulting and leadership skills.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for people who are curious, analytical, collaborative, and energized by solving problems. You'll bring:

  • An MBA or Master's degree, preferably in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in supply chain consulting or a similar analytical environment.

  • A strong interest in supply chain strategy, operations, and business transformation.

  • The ability to analyze data, connect the dots, and turn complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with clients and cross-functional teams.

  • A willingness to travel as needed.

Most importantly, you'll bring a problem-solving mindset.

Why GEP?

At GEP, you'll get more than a job in consulting. You'll get the opportunity to build your career by working on problems that matter.

You'll gain exposure to senior client stakeholders, work across industries and business challenges, and develop a combination of strategic, analytical, and client-facing skills that can accelerate your career.

You'll also have access to professional development opportunities, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, company holidays, and a 401(k) plan with a 3% company match and you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Additional Compensation: Eligible for a performance-based bonus tied to individual and company performance.

Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with a 3% company match, paid time off, company holidays, and professional development opportunities.
