The Corporate Accounts Manager leads and expands Sabert's strategic relationships with key corporate distributors, buying groups, and national accounts in the foodservice packaging industry. This role drives profitable sales growth, enhances customer partnerships, and aligns Sabert's innovative product solutions with evolving customer and industry needs. The Manager serves as the central connection between Sabert and the corporate headquarters of major partners, including leading distributors and contract management companies, while maintaining awareness of competitor strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead Sabert's relationships with key corporate distributor and buying group accounts across all product categories and marketing families.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans with strategic accounts to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong senior-level relationships across multiple customer geographies and decision-making levels.
  • Direct contract negotiation processes to achieve win-win outcomes, ensuring long-term profitable partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Field Sales teams to ensure customer strategies, product launches, and service levels align with Sabert's operational objectives.
  • Manage corporate program portfolios, including product specifications, artwork, forecasts, service KPIs, and financial performance tracking.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for top-to-top customer engagements, providing category leadership and market insight.
  • Partner with Sabert's Marketing and Product Development teams to identify innovation opportunities aligned with customer sustainability goals.
  • Monitor competitive activity and communicate market intelligence to influence Sabert's strategic direction.
  • Oversee corporate-level financial performance, including trade spend optimization, deduction management, and account profitability.
  • Support annual budgeting and demand forecasting for the corporate accounts channel.
  • Manage national and regional brokers in collaboration with Field Sales to drive execution of corporate strategies at the customer level.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews, category performance analyses, and post-program evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with Sabert policies related to pricing, governance, and code of business conduct.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strategic account management expertise, ideally within foodservice or packaging industry.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen and proficiency in analyzing profit, pricing, and trade spend data.
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving cross-functional collaboration and influencing without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to manage complex programs and multiple timelines.
  • Market awareness of competitive players such as Graphic Packaging, Pactiv Evergreen, and Dart, and their positions within the foodservice category.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Foodservice Management, Packaging, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible sales experience . Minimum of 7 years in food service, packaging, or manufacturing account management, preferably with major distributors or operators. Experience working with competitive accounts such as Sysco, US Foods, or buying groups is strongly preferred.
