Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Development ManagerOur client is a leading renewable energy developer, owner, and operator with a growing portfolio of utility-scale energy projects across North America. As demand for data centers and large-load infrastructure continues to accelerate, the company is investing in strategic partnerships and development initiatives that sit at the intersection of renewable energy, grid infrastructure, and digital infrastructure.Job DescriptionStrategic Partnerships & Commercial DevelopmentSupport the advancement of data center and large-load opportunities across multiple U.S. markets.Assist in evaluating strategic partnerships, acquisition opportunities, and commercial structures.Develop presentations, site marketing materials, and internal investment recommendations.Support customer-facing and partner discussions related to infrastructure development opportunities.Track market trends, utility developments, and emerging data center demand drivers.Project Development & Site EvaluationEvaluate potential sites based on power availability, infrastructure readiness, permitting considerations, land constraints, and overall project viability.Coordinate due diligence activities including zoning, land use, environmental factors, utility service, and infrastructure assessments.Support large-load application processes and utility engagement efforts.Work closely with internal project development teams to advance opportunities through key development milestones.Assist with land-related diligence, including leases, easements, purchase agreements, title, and survey reviews.Cross-Functional LeadershipCollaborate with development, interconnection, engineering, permitting, finance, legal, commercial, and M&A teams.Coordinate external consultants, utilities, landowners, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.Support internal decision-making through market analysis, development assessments, and project economics.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
