Disambiguate complex business problems from Nordstrom and Rack store and digital leaders with quick answers rooted in sound methodologies. Synthesize insights from multiple sources to inform the most holistic answer to drive customer engagement. Dynamically manage prioritization of commitments and timelines in close partnership with key stakeholders. Identify opportunities to refresh assumptions and approaches as the market, technology, and retail dynamics evolve. Synthesize insights as actionable levers or choices for business partners. Manage a diverse team of data scientists and data analysts.

Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative Statistics, Computer Science, Information Sciences and Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience as a Data Analyst, or in a related occupation.
Skills:
1. Experience in testing methodologies and inferring significance (2 yrs).
2. Experience with SQL required expert-level preferred. (3 yrs).
3. Experience working with NoSQL data environments and tools such as Hadoop, Spark, DynamoDB is a plus. (1 yr).
4. Experience with scripting (R or Python) and ML frameworks and libraries (2 yrs).
5. Working with large data sets, including automating pipelines (2 yrs).
6. Experience with direct use of graphics/visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Looker) or managing a team using them (2 yrs).
7. Advanced experience with AWS, GCP strongly preferred (1 yr).
