Design Compliance Manager
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85016
Setting: Hybrid: Mon/Wed/Fri onsite, Tues/Thurs remote
Pay: $85 - $100K
Travel: Approximately 10% Travel

We're seeking a Design Compliance Manager to lead a team of designers responsible for ensuring hotel properties across the U.S. and Canada meet established brand design standards. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced interior design professional who enjoys leadership, design oversight, and operational excellence rather than day-to-day creative design work.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of designers while overseeing design compliance initiatives.
• Review FF&E submissions and ensure adherence to brand standards across 700+ hotel properties.
• Support and guide Property Improvement Plan (PIP) execution and compliance reviews.
• Prepare and present materials for leadership and board meetings.
• Partner with hotel owners, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all design programs and processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of interior design or architecture experience.
• Prior leadership or people management experience preferred.
• Strong FF&E specification knowledge and attention to detail.
• Experience reviewing design standards, compliance, or project submissions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Hospitality experience is a plus, but not required.
