This role sits within a key division focused on medical packaging, where they are continuing to invest and expand its engineering capabilities.Job DescriptionLead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-5 design engineersOversee the design and development of thermoformed medical packaging productsDrive project execution from concept through production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are metCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, and commercial teamsServe as a key point of contact for customers, supporting technical discussions and project updatesEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including medical packaging guidelinesSupport continuous improvement initiatives across design and engineering processesProvide hands-on design support when needed, including CAD work and technical problem-solvingMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
