    Description

    Domestic Trade Solutions Manager

    The Domestic Trade Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing daily truck brokerage and domestic freight forwarding operations. This role ensures freight is transported safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction. The manager monitors, reports, and improves carrier coordination to deliver timely and economical solutions.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Manage the full cycle of freight brokerage operations, including rate negotiation and shipment coordination.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers to ensure service excellence.
    • Support airfreight and less-than-truckload (LTL) product offerings.
    • Provide timely and accurate updates to customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issues.
    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and operational activities.
    • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    • Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic truck brokerage.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in LTL and airfreight forwarding.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate team members in brokerage operations.
    • Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
